Learn all about Honeybees during our next Introduction to Beekeeping class.



If you have been considering starting Beekeeping, this workshop is for you. Your local Area Beekeeper Associations members would like to help you learn the things you need to know and consider before starting.

Event Details

Friday (6pm to 9pm): Introduction to Beekeeping, Startup Costs, Time Commitments, Expectations (free)

Saturday (9am to 5pm): Beekeeping terminology and equipment, apiary site selection and set-up, purchasing
and installing package bees and nucs, hive management and expectations for 1st year and excellent advice from experienced beekeepers. Free lunch and drinks on Saturday.

LocationJackson’s Chapel Community Center at the corner of Highway 49 and Bowker Rd. in Charlotte TN.
